In a continued effort to improve our fields, the Peters Township Parks and Rec Department has aerated. top dressed and seeded all of our soccer fields. We owe it to them for the vast improvement in the condition of our fields this year. Please make an effort to thank these individuals.
We have a window of nice weather ahead and we hope to get germination of the seed. We ask that you stay off all the soccer fields for the rest of the year. You can also help our program by keeping a watchful eye on our fields. Let me know if you see any unauthorized use or vandalism.
It was a terrible season as far as weather goes. Thank you for your understanding and compliance for field closures. This e-mail system was new this year and I believe I have worked out the bugs that caused some confusion early on.
Early in the spring we will be doing field lining and maintenance. This is a significant task that is usually done by an insufficient number of volunteers. We need you to do your part to keep our soccer program the stellar example that it is. Throughout the season I will request volunteers to help out with these field tasks. Please consider lending a hand.
