We are still doing Spirit Wear, but in a new way. Please note that our new web site is chock full of information for everything soccer, like Spirit Wear.
On the home page, click the "Shop" tab ( direct link: http://www.ptsoccer.org/Shop/index_E.html) and click on thelink.
It will take you to an online store. Take your time to look around a bit. At first it looks like there is only one option. Near the top of the page, you will see tabs for Mens, Ladies, Kids, Accessories, and Jerseys.
If you mouse over a tab, you will get options for each category. For example, mousing over the Mens tab give you tabs for Tee Shirts & Tanks, Sweatshirts & Fleeces, Outerwear, Shorts & Pants, Polos, Dress Shirts, and Workwear. The other tabs across the top give similar options for the other categories. Once you click one of the sub categories, you will get a page with tons of items.
Most of the items are available in different colors. If you click "Customize Now" on any of the items, that's when the fun begins.
The number of items available are incredible. Beyond that, they are highly customizable. There are embroidery options, screen printing options, and almost everything can be personalized in a number of ways. It can actually be a bit overwhelming at first. Note the drop down boxes shown below. In section 1, the box with "Soccer" in it can be changed to almost anything you want. There are a lot of options in the "Personalize It" box, as well. Section 2 shows the different color combinations you can choose from.
On the other side of the screen is another place to further customize. Section 3 can be changed to anything you want, like Swim Team, for example. In section 4, you can add a name and/or number. Obviously, section 5 is where you pick your size.
Any of the options shown above can be left blank, if you like the simple look. This store is open 24/7/365 - No more two week window to order. Items can be shipped right to your door - No more trying to get to the Community Room for pick up on a limited number of nights.
I've placed two separate orders myself, to see what the quality and service is like. Both orders arrived within 7 days of placing the order, and I was happy with the quality of the items I ordered.
My recommendation is to go for embroidery and/or screen printing. Both look very good. I found the names and numbers on the back to be a bit on the cheap side. They remind me of the iron-on stuff that was common in the 70s and 80s.
