Dear PT Soccer Association coaches and parents,
I am sending this on behalf of Dr. Andrea Nave, who is a fellow parent of children involved in PT soccer. Andrea is completing a Pediatric Dental residency at the University of Pittsburgh. As part of her studies, she is conducting research on mouthguard use in youth sports.
Over the next two weeks, Andrea will be present at practices asking both parents and coaches to fill out a brief survey regarding attitudes and experiences with mouthguards and dental injuries. This survey is anonymous, no identifiable information will be collected.
Thank you in advance for your help. I'm sure Andrea's research will help contribute to improved awareness of dental trauma in youth sports.
