To: Peters Township Soccer Association FamiliesFrom: PTSA Board - John LopusSubject: Introduction of PDO Trainer for Fall 2014For many years PTSA had the luxury of working with one of our most distinguished alumni, Justin Evans, as part of the PDO program for our youth travel teams. This year unfortunately Justin is not able to do this so we are working with an outside organization to assist with this training. Our trainer this fall will be Peter Okechukwu, 26 years old, from London, England. Peter's playing career included time with Arsenal, Crystal Palace, and Wigan youth teams and over the past five years he has been involved in youth coaching as he completed his college degree. You can find his full profile attached to this email.With this type of program, the coaches rely on the hospitality of host organizations and families in providing temporary housing. We are hoping to identify a family or combination of families that are willing to open their home to Peter for the time he is working with us (approximately 8 weeks). Having housed coaches in the past I can say from personal experience that it is something you will not regret and most likely a friend that you will maintain well after he leaves. I would be happy to provide further details to anyone that could help us for a few of the next 8 weeks. The field status will be updated when there is a change in the status of the fields or when the weather makes the conditions of the fields questionable. The decision to open or close the fields is based on field conditions and the safety of the players, NOT THE CURRENT WEATHER. I will make necessary updates by 3:30pm weekdays and 7:30am weekends. If the site has not been updated then there has been no change in the field status.

At times, this site cannot be updated in a timely manner. Please use your best judgment when making a final decision on your game and practice status. Often during scattered showers the fields will remain open although at your designated practice time the weather may be unfavorable to having practice.
